Xiangtan Hao Kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. Showcases at the 138th Canton Fair
On October 15, 2025, Xiangtan Hao Kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. participated in the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair). At the fair, they showcased for the first time their environmentally friendly products—high-strength, aging-resistant geotextile bags and integrated, aging-resistant, permeable, and antifouling curtains—developed over 20 years in China and applied in land reclamation and marine ecological protection.
At the exhibition, HOKG's booth featured large images and explanatory text showcasing real-world application cases of these products in port construction, land reclamation, marine ranching, and coastal protection areas. This attracted dozens of international visitors who inquired and discussed the products. Based on over 20 years of experience both domestically and internationally, the HOKG team provided on-site solutions and customized construction plans tailored to the specific needs and application scenarios of different clients. This received high praise and commendation from international attendees.
A representative from a South Korean subway drainage pipeline maintenance company visited the HOKG booth, seeking solutions and materials for sludge removal in urban subway tunnels. Addressing challenges such as limited subway space, high sludge moisture content, and difficulties in discharge, the HOKG team introduced how geotextile bags effectively solve problems like rapid sludge filling and solidification. They also drew up construction sketches on-site, demonstrating their construction approach and proposing the use of flocculation formulas to accelerate sludge solidification. They further suggested details such as laying a waterproof tarpaulin at the bottom of the construction site to ensure cleanliness and rapid sludge removal. This solution not only reduced the environmental impact on the subway interior but also improved construction efficiency, winning high praise from the client and securing on-site orders.
At the exhibition, two PhDs in water management from the UK introduced themselves as a research institution specializing in water resource protection and utilization in Europe. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on "Water Resource Protection and Pollution Prevention Technology Innovation." During the exchange, the British PhDs explained that they have been searching for new solutions and materials for applications where pollutants in water can be intercepted and the water can be rapidly filtered at a primary stage. The HOKBG team introduced their independently developed, patented new product: a high-strength, filterable antifouling curtain material. This product provides a physical barrier for water bodies, intercepting pollutants and filtering water molecules, thereby improving the transparency of flowing water. The UK customer expressed that HOKBG's technological philosophy aligns perfectly with their sustainable development strategy and plans to visit the HOKBG factory soon to further examine the production processes and technological development. They hope to explore more cooperation opportunities with Xiangtan Hao Kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. in product co-development, technology transfer, and market collaboration.
During the visit, another customer also showed great interest in our antifouling curtain products, engaging in a lively discussion. When he saw the application scenarios of our products, he expressed excitement and inspiration. He stated that he had finally found what he needed at the Canton Fair. Further communication revealed that he is based in Canada and conducts research on oil sands. He hopes to utilize our products on his "green project" website. We also discussed with him many application scenarios of our products and the problems they can solve. He stated that our products, of superior quality, provided him with much inspiration and guidance for his new project.
An Algerian client, planning to build a fishpond for large-scale aquaculture by the sea, expressed his needs. We provided high-strength, age-resistant geotextile bags for the fishpond dam, lining it with an age-resistant impermeable membrane, and then covering the dam to form a permanent pond, reducing investment and ensuring long-term effectiveness. We also showed him specific domestic construction cases of similar projects, explaining the construction facilities in detail and analyzing the investment scale. We provided a complete solution, encompassing plans, materials, equipment, and investment. The client stated, "HOKBG not only understands materials but also solutions and engineering; they are trustworthy."
