(HOKBG) is pleased to announce that we will participate in the 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangzhou, China, in both Phase 1 and Phase 2. The 140th Canton Fair will be held from October 15–19, 2026, and October 23–27, 2026, respectively.

At this international trade event, HOKBG will showcase a selection of its geosynthetic and ecological material solutions, with a particular focus on our integrated silt curtains and high-strength UV-resistant geotextile tubes. We will also present our UV-resistant grow bags and pallet-free bulk bags as part of our broader range of high-strength woven material products.

Integrated Silt Curtains for Marine and Environmental Projects

Silt curtains will be one of the key products presented by HOKBG at the Canton Fair. Designed for marine construction and water environmental management, our integrated one-piece silt curtain combines high-strength fabric, water permeability, and suspended sediment control in a single structure.

Unlike conventional designs that require multiple fabric sections to be connected on site, the integrated structure reduces connection points and helps improve overall structural integrity during installation and operation. The permeable filtration fabric allows water to pass through while helping retain suspended sediments, making the silt curtain suitable for applications where turbidity control is required.

Another important feature is the sandbag ballast system used at the bottom of the curtain. Compared with metal chains, sandbag ballast avoids corrosion-related problems in seawater and reduces the risk of sharp or rusted components damaging the curtain fabric. This design is intended to improve durability and simplify long-term use in marine environments.

HOKBG silt curtains can be applied in dredging projects, port construction, coastal engineering, land reclamation, marine construction, and water environmental management, helping contractors control suspended sediment during construction activities.

High-Strength UV-Resistant Geotextile Tubes

HOKBG will also highlight its high-strength UV-resistant geotextile tubes, which are designed for demanding dewatering and marine engineering applications.

Geotextile tubes provide a practical method for containing and dewatering dredged sludge and other water-rich materials. The material is pumped into the geotextile tube, while water is released through the permeable fabric and the solid particles are retained inside. With the appropriate dewatering process and, where required, flocculants, the water content of the contained material can be significantly reduced.

Beyond sludge dewatering, geotextile tubes can be used in coastal engineering, beach nourishment, beach construction, land reclamation, artificial island projects, shoreline stabilization, and temporary cofferdam construction. Their large capacity, flexible configuration, and suitability for outdoor and marine environments make them a useful option for projects requiring large-scale material containment and dewatering.

For projects exposed to sunlight, moisture, saltwater, and changing outdoor conditions, UV resistance and fabric strength are important considerations.
