HOKBG Ships Silt Curtains to the Philippines for Marine Construction and Turbidity Control

Xiangtan Hao kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. (HOKBG) has successfully completed the production, quality inspection, and shipment of a new batch of silt curtains to the Philippines. The products

will be used for marine construction projects to control suspended sediments, reduce turbidity, and protect surrounding aquatic environments.

This shipment includes:

· 1,460 meters of 1.5-meter-depth silt curtains (73 panels)

· 810 meters of 3-meter-depth silt curtains (27 panels)

· 22 bags of installation accessories

All products were manufactured according to customer specifications, passed strict quality inspections, and were carefully packed before export to ensure safe transportation and efficient installation at the project site.

As port construction, dredging, coastal infrastructure, and marine engineering projects continue to expand across the Philippines, effective sediment control and turbidity management have become increasingly important. Silt curtains are widely recognized as one of the most effective environmental protection measures for containing suspended solids and minimizing the impact of in-water construction activities.

HOKBG's silt curtains feature a one-piece integrated structure, providing outstanding structural strength, fewer connection points, and excellent stability under waves, tides, and currents. This design helps contain suspended sediments within the work area while maintaining reliable performance throughout construction.

Manufactured from high-strength permeable filtration fabric, the curtains allow natural water flow while effectively trapping suspended particles. This helps reduce turbidity, improve water clarity outside the construction zone, and minimize environmental impacts on surrounding marine ecosystems.

Unlike conventional chain-ballasted systems, HOKBG uses a sandbag ballast system that eliminates the risk of corrosion in seawater. Without metal chains, there is no rust that could damage the curtain fabric, resulting in longer service life, lower maintenance costs, and improved operational reliability in harsh marine environments.

With years of experience in manufacturing marine environmental protection materials, HOKBG supplies silt curtains, geotextile tubes, and geotextiles for projects including port construction, dredging, coastal protection, land reclamation, and ecological restoration. The company's products have been exported to customers throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.

This successful shipment to the Philippines demonstrates the continued confidence international customers place in HOKBG's product quality, manufacturing capability, and technical expertise. HOKBG remains committed to delivering innovative and reliable marine environmental protection solutions for coastal engineering projects around the world.
