HOKBG Hosts Tanzanian Client to Discuss Small Island Beach Project Using Silt Curtains and Geotextile Tubes
Recently, Xiangtan Hao kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. (HOKBG) welcomed a client from Tanzania to its factory for a site visit and preliminary discussions on a small island coastal sand beach restoration project. The client’s primary concern is to ensure that sand remains stable during low tide, preventing it from being washed away and maintaining ecological integrity.
During the visit, the client learned about HOKBG’s key products, including silt curtains and geotextile tubes. The HOKBG team introduced the potential applications of these products in controlling sediment movement during tidal changes, maintaining water clarity, and protecting coastal ecosystems. The silt curtains feature a one-piece integrated structure with a sandbag ballast system, avoiding the use of chains and preventing corrosion or rust damage in seawater. Geotextile tubes can stabilize shorelines and sand, while their permeable materials allow water to pass and provide a firm foundation.
